Review: Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer

REVIEW TIME!!!!

Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer.

Priced at £12.99, from Boots or Superdrug, it is not the cheapest primer but just bear with, bear with. This primer promises to “leave your skin looking incredibly smooth and matte” and uses “light technology to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, imperfections, open pores and shine”. However, here is the million dollar question: Does it really work? Simple answer is yes!

If anyone has read my skin care posts you know I have oily skin. Now open pores and oily skin go together like fish and chips, especially around the ol’ T-zone, so naturally I have them. Open pores are DEFINITELY improved with this primer.

My Skin: Moisturiser

Moisturisers increase skin's hydration by reducing evaporation, they are designed to make the outer layers of skin softer and more supple. For normal skin, moisturisers are used to prevent skin becoming too dry or oily. For dry skin, moisturisers are most likely to be oil-based and be a lot thicker in consistency, these moisturisers are also recommended for people with eczema. For oily skin moisturisers are still needed however they will be oil-free, so water-based. Those with sensitive skin will want to use a moisturiser without fragrances or dyes that could be irritating also ones that contain soothing ingredients such as chamomile or aloe.

As you've probably guessed today I'll be talking about cleansers (I've said cleansers too many times now - sounds weird). Now if you haven't read my previous post I suggest you do that before hand (I'll link it here). Alright let's get started!
