The Epidemic

It spread quickly, the epidemic, preying on the young and old but eventually that wasn't enough and it spread further. At first people became sick then they became sicker and sicker until they died, but they didn't die. Hearts stopped beating, blood stopped flowing but people lived and decayed while living. There was no cure. The year is 2016 and the world is living dead.

Fights broke out across the world, people were scared, people were angry and some people were just arseholes. Freaks, Zombies, Rotters, Ferals, you name it… we were called it. We were attacked, we never stood a chance. The broken bones and split lips never healed, the open wounds never healed, never faded, we were never fixed. By the end of it we probably looked like actually zombies. Funny that!
